This is quite possibly the only thing ever that's managed to destroy my finals productivity. Luckily I'm making up for it by staying up late, so I'm still on track. XD

So, spring break is over and I'm still feeling fairly drawy. We'll see how much actually gets uploaded. XD
I got a tour of Lucasarts on tuesday! Now THAT was awesome.
I can't really go into a lot of details here for NDA reasons, but vague comments:

1: Their. Food. Is. Awesome. Seriously. Best burger I've had in a long time.
2: Their concept artists are intimdatingly good. We're talking really high quality art here. Yow.
3: From what I saw, it seems like if you want lots of free swag, licensing is a pretty good field to go into. Bwaha.
4: People working on making videogames are QUIET. It's scarrrryyyyy!! I thought there was no one around, it was so quiet, but when I peeked over a cubicle someone inside it O_O'd at me.
5: The development sections are really locked up tight. I only remember seeing one or two doors that weren't shut by some sort of security system. Heck, even the elevators and front door had crazy moon locks.

By the way, I may do one of those "first person to post gets a quick sketch" things again sometime during the next few weeks. I'm feeling spontaneous.

Trying to find a 3d animation internship is hard when you don't know anyone who knows anyone working at any companies. I basically have spent the whole day so far calling and talking to random HR people at companies, most of the calls go like this.
"Do you do internships?"
"Not right now, maybe later this year/nextyear/century".
"Okay, thanks."

Blaaaaagh.

That completely destroys my productivity? I wann sleep all day. X_X
