Art trade with ; this is her character Tam. She wears a lot of different clothes, so I sort of hybridized a few of them for this one. Glasses always make faces interesting, if you ask me. ^^
This was an interesting experiment, as far as my drawings go. Two things went on;
1: I deliberately drew this without any lines, from the start. Not a single line was put down. Tough, but definitely interesting! 2: is a big fan of flat color, so I decided to try for some nutty minimalist shading. I'm curious what everyone else thinks of this. I kinda like it, personally.
That looks great i would love to do an art trade with you but i sort of have art block and what i come up with would look stupid T,T. anyway i love this!
That's really good. You did a great job of adding detail without using outlines.

going without lines from the start is very difficult, so this is quite impressive you managed to define her pretty well with use of minimalistic shading.
There are a few spots that perhaps could use a little more though to help define the shape. Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
