Finally the durned picture is done! I'm not used to doing supar dark pics so I had to sort of start from scratch again to figure out how to shade this. I like how it came out, though! Also: It's surprisingly easy to "fudge' things when most of your drawing is black XD
The "floor light" is based off some real ones I've seen in San Francisco. They look really neat in the rain at night.
At first I thought this was like a game and she was stepping into one of those portal things. XD I didn't know they had such things in Frisco. Very cool, I especially like the highlights and shadows on the clothing.

Thankee! XD The underlighting was something I'd wanted to try at least once, and now that I've done it I may end up experimenting with lighting more often. It was pretty neat! ^___^
Interesting, I didn't think of it until you mentioned it but yes, they do share color choices.. although I don't recall anne wearing jeans at any point.
Devious Comments
Seriously though, that's some pretty nice shading.
Oh, and I love how the rain looks.

A little Nightroad in all of us.
The girl in it reminds me of Anne from The Wotch

It's almost a bad habit of mine to focus on the torso too much!

But the light is awesome and you shaded it so well that way.

I thought once I was found but it was only a dream.
